Jake started his accounting journey at Bradley University, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in 2020. While he began his career in Peoria, Illinois, Jake made the move to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2021 to branch out and get closer to the great outdoors (and away from state income tax!). He has been with MHP ever since.
While his focus in the beginning of his career was Bookkeeping, he made the transition to Tax in 2019 and has loved it ever since. At MHP, he prepares and reviews a variety of complex tax engagements, including individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profit organizations. One of his favorite functions at MHP is training staff and seeing them progress in their careers, both professionally and personally.
When not in the office, Jake enjoys spending time with friends, shooting, practicing archery, watching basketball, and spending time with his dog.
