Tax Associate

Tax Associate - Cheyenne, WY

Full-Time Position in our Cheyenne, Wyoming Office

Prepare tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, and Estates. Must be able to work independently as well as within a team. Associate must be professional at all times and may have direct client contact. This position involves critical thinking and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be able to work rapidly, accurately, and under pressure during tax season to meet tight deadlines.

The Duties

Prepare complete and accurate returns.
Prepare documentation to support tax return calculations.
Reviewing data input, identifying, and resolving technical issues.
Work closely with managers and partners and keep team informed on status.
Communicate appropriately with clients while working on their tax return.
Understand federal, state, and local tax codes.
Show what you know! You have the knowledge-now apply it to real life situations. Thinking outside of the box is encouraged as well.
Share your ideas and opinions with your team.
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis and apply what you learn to your assigned tasks.

Who You Are

Have a Bachelor's degree and either working toward your 150 hours to sit for the CPA exam or a Master's degree.
You are friendly and professional.

You are willing to embrace moments of pressure and tight deadlines during busy season(s).
